Very easy to install and extremely bright. Fits in to any standard 6in can hole without needing to remove the can (though you will likely have to to access wiring). Is as thin as standard drywall so you can even install one immediately below a rafter and keep your lights exactly where you would want them.

Junction box is very cheaply built. It literally falls apart. The clips bend & twist easily & this could could’ve at least included a template like most other kids. I’ve tried many brands of recessed lighting & this is by far the worst kit I’ve used. Spend a few extra money to get a better quality kit & save yourself the troubles.
The seal is also extremely cheap & comes right off so don’t count on that. The brightness is as expected, the installation is pretty straight forward regardless of the kit you buy. It’s nice to buy a kit that uses the push connectors.

I bought a 12 pack of these lights to try. They were bright and not too bad to wire up. I had 12-2 wiring already up from past lighting and it was too big for the wire nuts provided and barely fit in j-box. I ran new 14-2 for the 2nd half of the 12 and it was better. I liked them enough i bought a 2nd 12 pack. The 2nd 12 pack seemed to be cheaply made compared to the 1st 12 pack. The j-boxes were breaking, they changed the wire nuts so it was hard to even get the 14-2 wiring to grab, and the wiring in the box was falling out. I had to tape up most of the j-boxes from the 2nd order. The lights worked fine tho. I would not have probably bought a 2nd set if i would have gotten the 2nd box 1st. It seems they started trying to save money on production or something wish they would have just kept making the same great product. First set would have been 5 star review 2nd set was definitely lower.
