The SCH-LD2410C Human Presence Sensor is a next-generation 24GHz mmWave radar-based presence detection switch designed to detect humans even when completely still. It provides accurate, real-time occupancy detection for modern smart lighting and automation systems.
This sensor integrates the radar module and switching circuit into a single compact unit, allowing it to directly switch AC loads such as lights or fans — eliminating the need for microcontrollers, relays, or smart hubs.
HOW IT WORKS
Using 24GHz FMCW radar technology, the sensor continuously analyzes reflections from the human body. Even the smallest movements like breathing or posture changes are detected, ensuring the system knows when a space is truly occupied.
Once no human presence is detected, the sensor turns the load OFF after an adjustable delay time, helping reduce energy waste.

🔌 Wiring & Installation
⚠️ WARNING: Always turn off the mains before wiring! If you are not experienced with AC wiring, seek an electrician.
1. Power Input (WAPDA AC mains):

📱 Mobile App Setup (Optional)
The sensor supports mobile app control for configuration and sensitivity adjustment. Use the HLK Radar Tool app (Android/iOS):

Power the sensor (after safe wiring).

Enable Bluetooth on your phone.

Open the app → scan for device starting with HLK-LD2410.

Connect and configure: Range, detection delay, sensitivity, etc.
📌 Once connected, you can adjust how quickly the load turns off after no presence, detection sensitivity, and other parameters.
Note: If the app does not detect the sensor, ensure Bluetooth is enabled and sensor is powered. Some firmware versions may require pressing a “Bluetooth enable” toggle in hardware first.
🟢 How It Works
✅ When human presence is detected, the sensor will switch ON the connected load (light/fan).
✅ When no presence is detected for the configured delay time, it will switch OFF.
✅ The delay time and detection sensitivity can be adjusted using the app.
🧠 Tips for Best Results
✔ Orient the sensor so it faces the area you want to cover (corridor, room entrance).
✔ Do not mount inside a metal box that blocks radar waves.
✔ Avoid directing the sensor toward large moving objects (fans, curtains) that might cause false activation.
